my school bus is my limo...

Every time I see that commercial from K-Mart with the kids rapping, "My school bus is my limo" I can't help but nod my head along. It's pretty funny. I can just imagine my Jack-Jack and his buddy Everett making up some crazy song on their way to school.
The boys went back to school today, so in honor of the big day, I made that song the title of this post.

The twins started 7th grade.

Where they are excited to be taking electives like Spanish, Woodshop, and PE. They both will continue playing the sports they love. Jarron will play basketball this winter-either for the Jr High team or for the Tomahawks.

Bryce will play lacrosse this spring for the Fairfield team. We were excited to find out that our high school team moved from club status to Division I play. :) It means more competition and a better chance at a college scholarship someday!

Jackson started 3rd grade.

Where he is beyond thrilled to have Jarron's former 3rd grade teacher Mrs. D. He's looking forward to being in class with some of his best friends and riding the bus each day with his friend, Ev (whom he spends a lot of time Facetiming these days). He's playing soccer this fall. (I know!) He also plans on playing basketball in winter as well.

This little Moose has one more year at home.

Which is a good thing, because he's busy being a boy. Making silly comments and having fun. Last night he said, "You know who loves playing Xbox, THIS GUY!" while pointing to himself with his thumbs. There is never a dull moment with this guy in our lives.
He's also playing soccer this fall. We'll see how that goes.

I've had a lot of people asking me lately when I'd be updating this blog. Sorry it's taken me so long. Life has been a little crazy for us but this is something I enjoy doing and that I know the boys will enjoy reading someday so I'm going to make an effort to update more. :)
Until next time!
