The One Where the Boys Got Elfed

How could you not love the boys dressed as elves dancing to 1980's Christmas music? :)
Enjoy...

Ten on Tuesday

1. It snowed! It snowed! Okay. It flurried. But still. There was white stuff on the ground, so the boys suited up and headed out...

2.Moose was having a good time until he touched the snow and then not so much. He screamed and ran to me holding out his hand as if he had been burned. Poor kiddo.

3. The Moose is quite the chatterbox these days. Loves to hang out with his momma, chattering a mile a minute. I was wrapping a birthday present for one of Jackson's friends in some Spiderman wrap and Moosey was hanging out with me. This is what I was hearing the whole time:
"Wha happen mommy? Spiderman get an owie? It's okay Spiderman. Mommy will fix your owie. Mommy's puttin' a band aid on your owie. S'okay Spiderman."
I realized that he thought the tape I was using on the Spiderman wrapping paper was a Band Aid. Ah, the logic of a two year old.

4. We're going to see Santa on Saturday. I'm anxious to see what the boys are going to ask Santa Claus for-the only one I know for sure is Jarron. You just never know with the Lakes boys though. :)

5. I volunteered at our company's OneSight clinic at the Museum Center this week. They let me run the tonometer, which is the machine that measures the pressure in your eye. Some of the kids had no problem with it but others...yikes. I love helping with the kids but I hate making them cry. I know it's for their own good but it was still tough to see.

6. We're really enjoying Sarah Palin's Alaska on TLC and next week it looks like Kate Gosselin will be on the show-I'm hoping Sarah shows her no mercy. I am seriously looking forward to watching Sarah school Kate in camping and {maybe, just maybe} being a parent. In all seriousness, I had no idea Alaska was such a beautiful state, I hope Chuck and I have the opportunity to see it in person some day.

7. I made 6 dozen cookies today. Just because I was bored. It's newsworthy, because it happens like once a year. Needless to say, the boys were shocked. In fact, they all seemed sort of suspicious. I guess I should bake a little more often.

8. This little man moved up to a big boy class in the nursery at church this week. He loves it. His momma may or may not have had a tear in her eye when she dropped him off.

9. This is what happens when you leave your good camera where two 9 year olds and a 6 year old can reach it. I have no idea what "stunts' they were doing on the stairs, nor do I want to know.

10.Look at that Ten on Tuesday two weeks in a row....yay me!!! :)

The One with The Slideshow Of All the Pictures

I'm sort of sad that slide.com no longer let's you customize your slideshow with cool music, so I'm going to have to find a new source for slideshows in the future. But in the meantime...enjoy all of the photos from the boys' most recent photo shoots.
{This is for those you who still aren't on facebook, I'm looking at you, Chuck!} :)
